PROGRAMS

Preschool programs at Little Lightbulbs Learning Centre offer play-based learning experiences in an environment designed to encourage the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of the young children in our care.  Our programming is informed by the principles of 
​Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework.  Your child will have daily opportunities to participate in large and small group activities with a focus on social-emotional, literacy, and numeracy learning.  Music, art, culture, and science will enrich our learning on a regular basis. 
​Our goal is to build your child's confidence and curiosity as a learner, and to facilitate many "little lightbulb" moments!  ​

3-Year-Old Programs

Focus on building social-emotional skills, executive functioning skills, self-care and independence skills, fine and gross motor skills.  Exposure to early literacy and numeracy concepts.

Child must be 3 by September 1, 2026, and must be fully toilet trained.  (Please contact us if your child cannot toilet train due to medical conditions or developmental delays.)  
​
Choice of two different classes: 

• Tuesday & Thursday Mornings, 8:30 - 11:30am
• Tuesday & Thursday Afternoons, 12:15 - 3:15pm

Fees: 

• $80 non-refundable registration fee
• $185 monthly fee per child  
• Additional fees may apply for field trips.  
• No fundraising fee!  
• No volunteer commitment!  

4 & 5-Year-Old Programs

Continue to build social-emotional skills, executive functioning skills, self-care and independence skills, motor skills.  Increased emphasis on early literacy and numeracy concepts in preparation for Kindergarten.

Child must be 4 by September 1, 2026, and must be fully toilet trained.  
(Please contact us if your child cannot toilet train due to medical conditions or developmental delays.) ​

• Monday & Wednesday & Friday Mornings, 8:30 - 11:30am
• Monday & Wednesday & Friday Afternoons, 12:15 - 3:15pm

• $285 monthly fee per child
• Additional fees may apply for field trips.  
• No fundraising fee!  
• No volunteer commitment!

Little Lightbulbs is pleased to participate in the federal-provincial Affordability Grant! 
The Affordability Grant saves every family $100 off preschool fees; this has already been applied to our listed rates. ​
